Ahh, how time flies!

I am not good at blogging. Not even a little bit. I will keep working on it. Thankfully, I have alot of great people who do it so well! I love to see everyone elses blogs and their fantastic writing abilities. I am hoping I can get somewhat more comfortable with how to make it all look nice. A work in progress, ha ha.

We have been up to a whole bunch since the last time I updated. The kids are back in school now. It is hard to believe that I have two elementary school students. Bekah and Rj are loving it so much. Sariah asks daily if she can go too. Austin is now 17 months old and getting into everything. He climbs up onto whatever he can and loves to explore all the new places he has discovered. He gives the sweetest hugs! And thankfully, once all 8 of his teeth broke through, he has quit biting all of us! We are getting all geared up for Halloween, so I thought I would share some pictures.

Life is so good, even for all the craziness. I love my kids so much and I feel incredibly blessed to have each one of them in my life. Tim is so dear and sweet, I could not ask for a better husband. We are all gearing up to celebrate Christmas in a few months. Maybe I can even get the lights up this year before it gets too cold outside. Last year, I chickened out. We ended up enjoying everyone elses pretty decorations. Happy Halloween!

Letting sleeping kids be

As good of an idea as that sounds like, it is not a good one. The last few days, I have not been keeping to the same nap schedule as well and boy am I suffering. I have had the kids bedtime routine down for a long time, but since getting back from vacation, I have relaxed somewhat. It is more the addition of Austin to the house that has thrown me off, but it has turned into a major struggle to get the older three into bed at night. They have been popping back up at least a dozen times that last week or so, and are doing alot of "bargaining" to get their bedtime stretched. Come to think of it, Tim has been gone almost a week now. A test, this is only a test, ha ha. Just shows me that I have to be conisistent always, no matter what is going on. I'll keep working on it.

Getting back in the swing!

Alright, I started the blog in 2005, promptly forgot my password and never got back to it. It either shows how lazy I have been or how busy, I will let you decide. Obviously, we have another deployment behind us and have added two more little ones to our family. It is really awesome to be in Washington and have the opportunity to see our families more often. We just got back from a vacation that took us to California (my very first time there since I was 4, so fun!), Oregon, Idaho (showing off the newest grandson, hooray!) and Texas. Now that we are back home, it is back to life as we know it. Tim is leaving again this week for another class in Kentucky. It will keep him away for awhile, but we have lots to do to keep us busy. Bekah will be starting 1st grade and Rj will be a brand new Kindergarten student! Wow, the time really does fly by. So we have to get ready for school to start in September, along with swimming lessons the last week in August. Once Bekah and Rj are in school, I will just have Austin and Sariah home for a few hours each day, it will be really nice I think. The middle part of September will have Bekah and Rj (don't they get to have all the fun!) returning to play soccer once again. It will loads of fun I am sure.

For everyone that follows along as we get our blog up and going, thank you!! Any tips would be appreciated as well.

Happy Halloween!!

Just Us

Us so long ago! It seems like forever, but we just celebrated our 4th Wedding Anniversary. Gotta love these shots, because you don't find us in the same frame often.

Bekah

Bekah starts Primary in a few weeks, which just blows me away! She is three going on fifteen. She loves to talk to her Daddy on the phone and reminds him often that she is not happy that he is not home with her.

She has been my trooper through all the changes and even remembers to hold my hand when she can tell that I am struggling. I am so thankful for her!

RJ

Wow, RJ has gotten so big lately! He is almost twenty months old and is into just about everything. Our poor Christmas tree has very few ornaments that he has not examined personally. He is a good follower for Bekah, so they get into lots of mischief together.

Fun Pictures

Happy Fall pictures, my favorite! These were taken in Utah shortly before we left to travel up here. I can't get them to do this well at photo studios, so many thanks goes to Grandma and Papa Wilkinson for getting them to laugh. And the photographer I guess too.
